Sesame scented tea is one of the unique teas in Lufeng, Guangdong. Rural people also call it sesame tea or fragrant tea or rice tea. Mainly at noon, you can mix coriander and soak rice or rice noodles. The method is to put sesame seeds in a tooth bowl (Lufeng dialect) and stir and grind them with a tea cone (dialect), mainly adding some tea leaves, peanuts, herbs and mint, and mashing them. After mashing, filter the tea residue with a small sieve, then pour in boiling water, and it becomes a thick fragrant tea with a special taste, which is not as good as usual tea. Green in color, it is one of the most popular refreshments in Chaoshan area.
