In this bright starry sky, there is the brightest star, that is Lijiang. Since ancient times, it has been an important passage of the "Southern Silk Road" and the "Ancient Tea-Horse Road". Among the bright stars in Lijiang, there is such a quiet and romantic flower city, which is the hub for visiting Old Town of Lijiang, Yulong Snow Mountain, Lugu Lake, Shangri-La, the first bay of the Yangtze River and the scenic spots with three parallel rivers. With a long history and distinctive national characteristics, it is an ideal choice for everyone to rest. Yes, it is Shuhe Ancient Town, four or five kilometers away from Old Town of Lijiang (Dayan).
Impression of the ancient town is similar, mostly small bridges and flowing water, antique. What fascinates me most about Shuhe ancient town is its flowers, plants and garden landscape. Yunnan's unique geographical location and climatic characteristics make the flowering period here longer, the varieties more complete and the flowers more colorful. So there is almost no courtyard, no flowers, no garden. Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of having such a small yard, full of flowers and bamboo shutters, where I could pick flowers, enjoy tea and bask in the sun in my spare time. Unexpectedly, Shuhe Ancient Town perfectly integrated all my good wishes, which is why I love it.
Early in the morning, stepping on the smooth stone road, patting the beautiful yard and smelling the tiny flowers, the beautiful feeling in my heart spread bit by bit like ripples ... I turned to a few deep and quiet hutongs, and my eyes suddenly opened up. It turned out that I had reached the scenic spot where flying flowers touched the water. It is said that this place was originally a village pond full of frogs, and was later built into the most beautiful place in Shuhe ancient town according to local conditions. Clear rivers, vertical and horizontal wooden plank roads and unknown flowers surround bars with different styles. It is said that if you wait until April when the birch trees bloom and the spring breeze ripples, you will see countless flowers flying happily into the water waves from mid-air. In other words, in the middle of the night, a beautiful woman like a flower will fly and jump into the pool, which is the real flying flower touching the water.
In the corner not far away is a three-eye well with Naxi characteristics. Although it looks unremarkable, it is the crystallization of the wisdom of Naxi ancestors. The third well is actually a spring water, which flows in three levels from high to low, and is built into three fences with stone strips or slabs. From high to low, the first eye is drinking water, the second eye is washing vegetables, and the third eye is washing clothes. Because the third well is formed according to the terrain, the lower pool water will not pollute the upper pool water, and it can be used by different demanders at the same time, which is economical and environmentally friendly. On the way to Jiuding Longtan, I also saw another group of three-eye wells. I wonder how many groups of such wells are there in the ancient city?
Further on, there is a small market, mainly selling some fruits and various mushrooms, and there are several small shops selling breakfast, which are full of fireworks. Not far along the river, you will come to Qinglong Bridge, which is the oldest bridge in town. It is backed by Jubaoshan, and the deck of Cang Sang is quite heavy. This used to be the former site of the ancient tea-horse road. Standing on the bridge, there seems to be a burst of hooves in my ear. The stone on the ground is polished like a mirror, and some children are often seen playing on the slide during the day. From time to time, the bride-to-be is taking wedding photos. Under the bridge is the center of the ancient city ~ Sifang Street. There seems to be such a place in Naxi town. Further on, there is a small museum of the ancient tea-horse road, where you can learn about the mysterious and legendary course and story of the ancient tea-horse road, but it was temporarily closed when I went. Sorry, it's a bit confusing, because I can never tell things apart when I go out, so I can only wander around! )
If you want to find a quiet place to sit, you can go to Jiuding Longtan, which is also called Longquan by the locals. There is a semi-circular small stone pool near the mountain and water, and a pavilion is built between the two pools, which is a good place to watch Jiuding Longtan and have a rest.
Most of the houses in the ancient town have been renovated into inns, and the shops selling things are relatively concentrated, so the ancient town is quieter and less noisy. The typical structural layout of Naxi residential buildings is "three rooms and one zhaobi", with the front yard and zhaobi as entrances, the hall in the middle and the courtyard behind, and a small courtyard on each side of the hall. In the ancient town, flowers are planted in the yard and trees are planted in the yard. There are flowers and fruits in the four seasons, and the pavilions are exquisite. Almost every inn here is elegant. For example, the standard room in my yard 120 yuan is clean and comfortable. There is a small pond in the yard, where fish play freely and a fruit tree is lush. The residents here are very friendly. Even if you don't stay, you can wander around and take photos at will.
It is said that the new town outside the ancient town is dominated by some high-end hotels and villas. A girl who came back from Lugu Lake in the same car booked a villa outside the ancient town for a day in 240 yuan.
