Spicy vegetarian chicken
Main ingredients
Vegetarian chicken roll 1 green pepper 1 red pepper 1 dark soy sauce A small amount of brown sugar Amount of salt Amount of salt Thirteen Appropriate amount of aroma, appropriate amount of oil, appropriate amount of chicken essence, a small amount of garlic, 4 cloves of ginger, 3 slices of Sichuan peppercorns, 8 star anise, 1 water, 250ml
How to make spicy vegetarian chicken
1. Cut the tofu rolls into 1.5 pieces Centimeter thick slices, green and red pepper, garlic, ginger slices, 1 tablespoon oil, 1/3 tablespoon dark soy sauce, 250ML water and mix evenly.
2. Pour oil into the pot and add brown sugar (you can leave it out if you don’t like it)
3. Heat on low heat until the brown sugar bubbles, pour in the vegetarian chicken rolls and turn to high heat.
4. Stir-fry until both sides of the vegetarian chicken rolls are coated with sugar, then add garlic, ginger, pepper, star anise, and thirteen spices and stir-fry until fragrant.
5. Pour in the prepared oil-consuming old juice.
6. The water level is parallel to the chicken rolls, add salt, cover the pot and cook over medium heat. (Personally, I think the vegetarian chicken rolls are firmer, and adding salt can enhance the flavor when stewing)
7. When there is oil left at the bottom of the pot, add green and red chili peppers and stir-fry over high heat.
8. Add a small amount of chicken essence and stir-fry evenly before serving.
Tips
Friends who don’t like to add sugar for coloring can use dark soy sauce or light soy sauce for coloring, but the steps need to be slightly modified.
