The unique "donkey fire" in Hejian has a long history. The earliest legend is that in the Qing Dynasty, Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, passed by the river, and missed his residence to eat among the people. The owner had to put the leftover cake on the donkey meat and put it in a cauldron to heat it. After eating it, Ganlong praised it again and again!
