Step 1: Cut the beef brisket into pieces (the owner of the beef shop cut it for me when I bought it).
Step 2, prepare seasonings: stewed beef 1, fragrant leaves 34, cinnamon bark, star anise 2, tsaoko 1, angelica dahurica 3, nutmeg 1, two dried peppers 3, dried tangerine peel 5g, clove 34 and chopped green onion 1. (Crushed nutmeg, clove, dried tangerine peel and other small spices are put into the material bag to prevent excessive residue in the stewing process.
Step three, put the beef into a pot with cold water, and skim the foam after the water boils.
Step 4, take out the blanched beef and control the moisture.
Step 5, put a little cooking oil in the pot, add Pixian bean paste, cinnamon, star anise, dried pepper, onion ginger and other seasonings and stir-fry until fragrant.
Step 6, stir-fry the seasoning and add the blanched beef.
