Mo Yan, also known as Mohu Stone and Moshi Stone, is produced in Liucheng County and Liujiang County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi, and distributed in counties in Liuzhou area. Stone belongs to calcium carbonate sedimentary rock, with hardness of about 3 to 4 degrees, black color like paint, and white lines in the middle.
Ink rock is pure black and shiny, with a transparent and exquisite appearance, and its thin, transparent, leaky and wrinkled natural form can be heard.
