Ingredients: 750g ribs, cooking wine, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, water, salt, aniseed, onion and ginger slices.

4. Add a proper amount of water and simmer for about 15 minutes until the ribs and chestnuts are cooked and tender.

Stewed lotus root with spicy ribs

Main ingredients: ribs and lotus root, and auxiliary materials: pepper, star anise, dried pepper, fragrant leaves, rock sugar and cooking wine.

1. Boil the ribs in cold water first, then take them out and control the moisture.

2. Peel, slice and cut the lotus root.
