The origin of Tathagata

The term "tathāgata" is translated from Sanskrit. For example, the word "tathāta" refers to the real situation of all laws (things) and also includes the meaning of "Yathābhūtam". Buddhist scriptures interpret "Tathagata" as "coming from the way of truth" and "coming as truth". Tathagata is a common noun and a synonym for Buddha. The word Buddha is the abbreviation of "Buddha", which is a transliteration of Buddha (if transliteration is used in today's Chinese, it should be "Buda"), and Buddha means "consciousness" or "wisdom". "The word' Buddha' has a long history in India, but Buddhism has added three meanings to it: (1) conscience (knowing the essence of all laws, neither increasing nor decreasing); (2) Isosleep or metasleep (not only conscious, that is, self-awareness, but also equally and universally aware of him, even if others are aware); (3) The Buddha feels round or supreme (consciously feeling that his wisdom and behavior have reached the highest and most perfect state). Tathagata: Take the road of truth and become a Buddha. "Ru" in Buddhist scriptures is called truth and is an absolute truth. Tathagata means that Buddha is a saint who holds absolute truth and comes to the world to say that he can benefit all beings. Tathagata is the supreme ruler of the western paradise, the representative of the highest divine power, and the true good Buddha who helps the world with compassion. It's all the same to call Buddha Sakyamuni or Tathagata Sakyamuni. But it is wrong to call Sakyamuni Tathagata, because Tathagata and Buddha are the general names of all Buddhas.

His real name is Siddhartha, which means "Achievement of Justice" (translated as "Achievement of Justice" in the old days), and his surname is Gautama (Gotama). Because his father was Sakyamuni, he was honored as Sakyamuni after becoming a monk, which means "the sage of Sakyamuni". Other titles include Buddha (Awakened), Buddha and Buddha. Buddha

In the early years, it was said that Sakyamuni was a descendant of the famous royal family Mowang (King Yijiu) in the Vedic period of ancient India, that is, the Chinese translation of "Sugarcane King". He is the prince of Kapilovi (robbing Pirawatu) and belongs to Khrushchev caste. Kapilovi is a small town where Sakyamuni people live. It is located at the foot of the Himalayas, near Tirolaco, which is adjacent to India in southern Nepal. At that time, it was the vassal state of Zazaro. When Faxian traveled to India in the 4th century, India was in decline. /kloc-at the end of 0/9, archaeologists unearthed a stone pot with bones hidden here, engraved with the mystery of Brahma popular in centuries BC, which means the Buddha's bones enshrined by Sakyamuni people. In addition, the stone carvings built by Ashoka during his lucky trip were found in Kapilovi, which confirmed its general geographical location. Since then, the Nepalese government has been conducting archaeological excavations. Sakyamuni's father is King Kapilowei, whose name is Tona, and the Chinese translation is Sudoku King. Mother's name is mahayeh. She is the eldest daughter of King Shanjue of Tianwan City across the river from Kapilowei City. According to the custom at that time, Mrs. Moyev went back to her mother's house to give birth, and passed through Lumbini Garden, which is now the Romede Temple in Potori village in southern Nepal, and gave birth to Sakyamuni. The date of birth of Sakyamuni is not accurately recorded in ancient Indian classics, and scholars from all over the world generally research from the historical records of Buddhism itself, counting from the date of birth. So there are different opinions, as many as 60 kinds. There is a gap of several years between the earliest statement and the latest statement. Southern Buddhism countries such as Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia generally believe that Sakyamuni was born in 624 BC and died in 544 BC. Based on this, a grand event will be held in 1956 ~ 1957 to commemorate the 2500th anniversary of Sakyamuni's nirvana. According to the historical data spread to the south, western scholars have different opinions about the extinction date of the Buddha, including 489 BC, 487 BC, 486 BC, 484 BC, 483 BC, 482 BC, 478 BC and 477 BC. According to the historical data introduced to the north, Yujinghong of Japan dates back to the accession of King Ashoka in 1 16 BC, presumed to have been born in 466 BC and died in 386 BC. According to Ashoka's accession to the throne in 286 BC, Nakamura assumed that the Buddha was born and died in 463-383 BC. According to the teacher's "Saint's Note" in the book "Seeing the Buddha's Shafa" translated by badra, a scholar in Nanqi at that time, it was recorded that in the year of Sakyamuni's death, he received a post, and he received a post on July 15 of that year, and added one point every year thereafter, reaching 975 points in the seventh year of Nanqi Yongming (489). It can be inferred that Sakyamuni was born in 565 BC and died in 486 BC. He was generally contemporary with Confucius in China during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, but he died seven years earlier than Confucius. This theory is also adopted by Buddhist scholars in Japan, India and other countries. The Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in China is also said to have been born in 104 1 BC and died in 96 1 BC. Madame Moyev died on the seventh day after Sakyamuni was born. As a child, Sakyamuni was raised by his aunt Berti. He learned all the knowledge and skills that the royal family should have at that time (that is, five Ming). 16 years old (otherwise known as 17 and 18) married his cousin yaodharā and gave birth to his son Rollo.
