Where is Maoxian Cave in Huainan?
Maoxian Cave is a Taoist temple. Under the peak of Sanfeng Shandong, Fengtai County, Anhui Province. Deep in the cave, it is said that Mao Ying, Mao Gu and Mao Zhong lived here in seclusion in the Western Han Dynasty, hence the name.

Located in the west of Huainan City, Anhui Province, 102 provincial road can be directly reached. It's about 30 kilometers from the city center. It belongs to a comprehensive scenic tourist area that combines nature and humanity in Cambrian mountain areas. It was built during the reign of Emperor Jing of the Western Han Dynasty (BC 156-BC 143). Mao Xian Cave was named because three brothers Mao Xian, a wise man in Xianyang, Shaanxi, cultivated immortality here. Rebuilt in 1986, Maoxian Cave Scenic Area was established.

Maoxian Cave Scenic Area 16 square kilometers. It is the distribution center of Fengtai's "Huaihe River Scenery Tour", surrounded by water on three sides, and the Huaihe River passes through the territory. Purple Mountain meanders westward from the northern profile of Shouchun, an ancient city, like a giant arm embracing Shixia in the west, forming a magnificent landscape of competing peaks, which is known as "the scenic spot on Huai River". In the mountains, there are beautiful trees and lush flowers; Huaishui under the mountain is like practice, and the rocks are long; Guide the sky obliquely, climb high and overlook, and the Huaihe River only flows westward. Xi Shou Lake, Dongfeng Lake and Jiaogang Lake have a panoramic view. East and West He Fei runs through it, also known as the "Three Bay of Flying Water", which has been a sacred place for the inheritance of Buddhism and Taoism since ancient times and a scene on the Huaihe River.
