Snails are my favorite snail meat. Basically, if there are fresh snails in the market, Yaomei will buy one three or two times a week. If there are other seafood for Xiao Huba, I will make a snail menu with a stronger taste. (Still an old saying goes: Yaomei loves spicy food ~) Snails cooked with spicy wine, snails chilled in Thai style, etc. This is the most commonly used mode.
Then I bought this seafood food today, so my sister chose the most primitive and simple way to cook it for Xiao Huba. Although it's simple, it also has skills ~
Boiled snail
Main ingredients: snails.
Side dishes/seasonings: ginger, salt, soy sauce, mustard, cooking wine.
The cooking steps are as follows:
1. Wash the snail, add a proper amount of salt, grind it clockwise or counterclockwise, and soak it for about 20 minutes.
2. Peel and slice ginger for later use;
3. Boil the pot with clear water and put ginger slices (in fact, Yaomei usually puts a proper amount of citronella when cooking snails, but unfortunately she didn't buy all the supermarkets today); The taste cooked in this way is delicious, and my xiaohuba likes it best;
4. Add the snail, drop two drops of cooking wine, cook for about 3-4 minutes, and turn off the fire;
5. After cooking, remove the floating foam on the surface, then take out the fragrant snail and put it on a plate;
6. What is the simplest sauce for Yaomei? Sushi? Dip sauce: soy sauce+mustard; Of course, if you give it to children, just add a few drops of lime juice to the soy sauce.
Tip: Although it is only boiled in water, it looks very simple, and it is indeed a very simple cooking method; However, we should also pay attention to two points: skill one, you must choose fresh snails when buying. Live snails usually show their bodies and tentacles. When a finger touches them, the snail will retract, and the shell is slippery and has a layer of liquid; Tip 2: When cleaning the fragrant snails, put some salt, rotate clockwise or counterclockwise and soak for at least 20 minutes. Tip 3: Don't cook snails for too long. After boiling, add the snail and cook for about 3-4 minutes, then turn off the fire and take it out. Cooked for too long, snail meat will get old and taste bad.
