Locals sometimes call it blind pimple, but the scientific name is scarab, and the black one you are talking about is black scarab. It mainly harms sugarcane. Adults have hard shells, smooth surfaces and metallic luster.

The front wing is hard, the rear wing is membranous, and it is mostly active at night, with phototaxis characteristics. Control is generally carried out in the larval stage.
