Digging recipes in Dashan, Guizhou
After a few days in Nayong County, Bijie City, I was deeply impressed by the mountains, the huge caves of Tianshengqiao, the thrilling wall-hung roads and the unknown flying springs and waterfalls. However, when I went to Guling Town, Nayong County, I was surprised to find that there was a 10,000-mu tea garden in the mountains of this town, and the story behind the owner of the tea garden was even more legendary.

This smoky tea garden is located on the house of the mountain god, eight kilometers away from Guling town and 2300 meters above sea level. When driving to the foot of the tea garden, it was drizzling and the mountains were shrouded in mist, just like a fairyland. The tea gardens are layered, and the winding mountains are like green wool, printed on the mountains like green fingerprints. From the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain, the tea garden is like a contour line, and the scenery is beautiful.

It is said that the owner of this tea garden used to be a coal boss with a loud name, Tan Zhengyi. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, he realized that it is not a long-term solution for villagers to dig coal, and it will also destroy the ecological environment. He also wanted the villagers to have a long-term industry to get rich, so he decided to plant alpine ecological tea on this barren mountain.

In 2009, Tan Zhengyi decided to make alpine ecological tea, but the 10,000-mu barren mountain he contracted was not suitable for growing tea because of its high altitude, but he did not believe in evil, so he began a difficult exploration. First, three years of planting failed, with a loss of more than 5 million yuan. People have been gossiping behind it, but he never thought about giving up. After four years of continuous experiments, it was finally planted successfully.

Since 2009, after 1 1 year of hard reclamation, the investment before and after is nearly 200 million yuan. After numerous failures and setbacks, a barren mountain has been turned into a lush alpine tea garden.

Along the paved cement road in the tea garden, we walked into the tea garden, which coincided with the tea pickers collecting summer tea. Dressed in gorgeous costumes, they embellished the tea garden more vividly, while the distant mountains and the rolling clouds supported the quiet beauty of the tea garden.

Nowadays, those hard past events have become the thick "bottom material" of this tea garden. The mountain god has already faded from the desolate yellow-brown color, and the color changes with the seasons. The mountains are covered with azaleas in spring and full of green in summer. In winter, snow will dye it white again, and the whole tea garden will enter a dormant period.

Because of the high altitude, it is difficult to grow tea, but it also has its own unique advantages. In winter at high altitude, snow freezes, and tea trees enter a dormant period of up to half a year, resulting in a sharp drop in tea production. And its unique advantage is that insects can't overwinter, and tea trees have no pests. When picking, it feels fresh, the aroma is clean and the leaves are bright. Tea plants have been dormant for half a year and revived for half a year, creating high-quality alpine tea.

In order to form an ecological cycle and ensure organic tea, Tan Zhengyi invested in building a pig farm at the foot of the mountain. Tea is planted on the mountain, pigs are raised under the mountain, pig manure is converted into biogas slurry, and tea is obtained as organic fertilizer along the irrigation pipeline. Weeds in tea gardens descend along the path guided by sickles, and pigs occupy ecological grains and feed them one by one, forming a circular ecological industrial chain of "pig-marsh-tea-grass".

At noon, Teacher Tan invited us to taste glutinous rice pork, whether it was fried, stewed or bacon. The smell of pork can only be remembered when I was a child in my hometown. I have drunk the maotai-flavor wine in Guizhou. This lunch was the most unforgettable meal I had by car in Guizhou this time.

At present, Tan Zhengyi's tea gardens have all passed the organic certification of China, the European Union and the United States, forming two brands: "Wulingyuan" and "Wulingyuan Red". 20 18 was named "Top Ten Tea Mountains in Guizhou" by Xinhuanet, and 20 19 was awarded the honor of "Beautiful Tea Garden in China" by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The farms in the mountains slaughter thousands of pigs every year, which also solves the employment problem for more than 200 local villagers and everything is on the right track. But since 2009, he has invested nearly 200 million yuan 1 1 with an annual debt of 30 million yuan. Why does he insist?

He said: "Only make high-quality, alpine green organic tea, and never mix it with other teas." "Now it has invested nearly 200 million yuan, and the tea quality and environmental and ecological benefits have been realized." Tan zhengyi thought, "in three years, the bitter days should come to an end." Dare to think and do, and push him to his dream step by step. Today, Tan Zhengyi is working hard to create a business card for the health experience tour of Huahai Tea Town. This beautiful tea garden will attract more people to visit and punch in.
