This link expresses children's filial piety to the deceased. The mourning ceremony was held in front of the mourning hall, and only the immediate family members of the deceased attended. Family members will observe a moment of silence in front of the mourning hall to express their respect and memory for the deceased.
The rules of the funeral.
First, give gifts! Before the old man dies, all the family members, old and young, should gather around him and guard him. As the saying goes, it is called "farewell". There is a saying in The Journey to the West that "sell the white horse and buy a coffin to send with Master." "Send the old" means death!
Second, pour the eggs! When the old man died, a coffin was placed in front of the door, and three animals, three chopsticks and two shelled eggs were placed on a bowl of rice. According to the old man, laying eggs means "welcoming children and protecting grandchildren"! So in normal times, people generally avoid eating two eggs. I remember when I was a child, I had loose bowels. When my parents cooked eggs, they often asked them to eat three, calling "three for one!" " "
Third, when the old man enters the coffin, he is required to keep his feet from falling and his head from supporting the coffin. In some places, there is a saying that "cold coffins don't enter the village", which means that the guests died in other places, died abnormally, returned to China for burial and stopped at the head of the village!
Fourthly, in the funeral custom, the first three shovels of "construction" are dug by the dutiful son, which means "opening a hole". When buried, the coffin entered the cave, surrounded by dutiful sons, and covered the coffin with three pieces of earth! For the custom of burning seven, the son-in-law and daughter buy the goods needed for the "May Seventh" and bear the required expenses.
