Are curry beef brisket and curry fish eggs Cantonese (or guangdong snacks)? Do these two have any interesting history or something? Thank you.
As far as I know, Hong Kong is a snack. Before the reunification, Hong Kong was a British colony, and India was under British control for a long time. At that time, Britain used a lot of Indians as security guards in Hong Kong. Curry originated in India and I believe it has something to do with this passage. However, curry fish and eggs is not a traditional snack in India, and most Hindus in India don't eat beef, so I think it should be inspired by Hong Kong people or invented by Indians living in Hong Kong.
