1, Banzhu Village
Banzhu village, this is one of the starting points to Tianmu Mountain. In Tianmu Mountain, besides the scenery, there are many unknown stories. There are Sima Regret Bridge and Sima Regret Temple in Banzhu Village. The bridge is located in the valley under Tianmu Mountain, surrounded by tall and straight trees. The river trickled, the green leaves sang and crossed the stone bridge. On the other side of the bridge is Sima Regret Temple. The door of the temple is locked, and you can't see that the temple is in disrepair from the crack of the door. Perhaps only during festivals will villagers come to worship and burn incense.
According to legend, Sima Cheng lived in seclusion in the Tiantai of Tongbai Mountain in the Tang Dynasty, and later came out of the mountain in Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. When Sima Cheng passed this bridge, he regretted it, so he called it "Sima Regret Bridge". Go ahead and you will see Banzhu Village. This ancient post road paved with pebbles runs through Benzhu Village. The main village houses stand on both sides of the ancient road, which is also the best preserved section of the ancient post road in Xinchang County. It is said that there were inns and shops on both sides of the street in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which was a very prosperous place. Now Banzhu Village has put aside its former prosperity. Like other villages, young people are no longer in the village, only old people and children are left. Of course, there is this quiet small village, which has slowly passed through the prosperity of history with the passage of time.
2. Huiyeling Village
Go along the trail and you will first arrive at Huiyeling Village. Along the way, you will find some houses that have been in disrepair all the year round. There is a parking oil road at the end of the trail, which has been opened to traffic. After Taiping Temple, we arrived at Hengbanqiao Village.
3. Hengbanqiao Village
Along the stone road, you can walk past a small dam and walk to Heifengling. When you get here, you will find an ancient post road paved with pebbles. It is an uphill road to Heifengling. When you get to Heifengling on the hillside, you will see Guandi Temple and Yamamoto Longxu Temple on both sides of the road in Guannei. Then, you can reach Lengshuikeng Village along the downhill road. Walking along the ancient road, I didn't see the residents of the nearby villages. The ancient road was basically abandoned because it could not be opened to traffic. On this ancient road, only two ancient temples stand in Heifengling. Without brilliant decoration, it can only prove the past.
4. Lengshuikeng Village
Lengshuikeng Village surrounded by mountains is a beautiful village, but there are fewer villagers here. Go straight to the entrance of the village and you can see an abandoned ancient bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue to weave between the ancient road and the highway, and you will arrive at Fengshuling Village and Jiuzhai Village.
5. Guoqiao Village
There is a bridge "Huang Du Bridge" across the stream in Du Heng Village. This is a very beautiful stone arch bridge with exquisite stone statues and stone lions. It's worth taking the time to have a good look and stay. Standing on the bridge and looking at the daily breath of the villagers and the ancient trees beside the bridge, it is like telling me one story after another.
6. Guanlingtou
After crossing the bridge, the ancient road was replaced by a national road. After walking along the national road to Bawu Village, you can see the ancient post road. Go to Guyi Road 15 minutes, and you will see the "Guanlingtou" at the junction of Xinchang and Tiantai. After arriving at "Tangguanlingpu", it also means that the end of the trip has arrived. There were military camps and post stations in ancient times, and Guanlingpu is a rare relic of the ancient road. Now, the three characters of "Guanlingpu" on the gate are still clear, and the original Guanlingpu post station has now been used as an underground vault. The pipe head is the junction of Xinchang and Tiantai, with Xinchang in the north and Tiantai in the south. There is a Hou Wang Temple in Guantou, which was built in memory of two generals, Zhu Liangzu and Shen Ye. The local residents knew that I was a foreign tourist and specially opened the door for me to visit, especially thanking the villagers for their warm hospitality. Walking into the circular arch of the brick wall, there are many old houses inside. Every old house has it.
