Today's frosted peanuts are what we used to eat during the Chinese New Year in our childhood. However, the icing peanuts we ate at that time were too thickly coated with icing sugar. Now that we make our own, we are concerned about deliciousness and health at the same time, so we have improved it a bit and reduced the amount of sugar.
Crunchy peanuts wrapped in a seemingly endless frosting, red and white, very nice, the Chinese New Year on the table on such a dish, quite able to add a festive and lively atmosphere heh
Put the raw peanuts into the oven, baked at 150 ℃ for 20 minutes or so (halfway through the flip a few times, so that the peanuts are heated evenly) removed to cool and standby. (If you don't have an oven, you can fry them in a wok.) In a frying pan, add sugar and water, heat over medium-low heat and boil the sugar to make a syrup. When the syrup boils down to a thick consistency with large white bubbles, turn down the heat and pour in the cooked peanuts and stir-fry quickly with a wooden spatula until a white frosting appears, then turn off the heat and pour out the peanuts while they are still hot and allow them to cool.
