What food does the tortoise eat?
Turtles like to eat meat and fishy food. Little turtles mainly eat meat. When they are older, they can eat some vegetarian land. Generally, small fish, shrimp, earthworms, loach, animal viscera, snails, crickets, a small amount of red meat, bananas, melon skins and so on can be fed. Note here that turtles can't eat cucumbers and lettuce. Besides, the tortoise is hungry, so don't eat too much. The bigger the turtle, the less times it feeds the ground, and the smaller the turtle, the more times it feeds the ground. Generally, young turtles are fed three times a day, young turtles are fed/kloc-0 times a day, and adult turtles are fed once every two to three days. During the spawning season, the mother turtle should feed more nutritious food (such as shrimp) before hibernation. Here, when feeding shrimp, you must shave off the spikes on its head, otherwise it will hurt the turtle. If it's too much trouble, don't feed turtles and shrimps. Finally: Never feed the tortoise. Those are puffed foods, which are full of food, fat and nutritious. Turtles in our family usually eat pork liver, shrimp, chicken and so on.
