Nantong, Jiangsu belongs to the Central Jiangsu region.

Nantong City, referred to as "Tong", the ancient name of Tongzhou, also known as Jinghai, Chongzhou, Zilang, prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, the center of the Yangtze River Delta. Nantong does not belong to the south or north of Jiangsu, Nantong belongs to the central region. Nantong is located on the east coast of the Yangtze River estuary, south of the Yellow Sea.
