As we all know, The Fairy of Bibo is a very famous traditional Peking Opera, which tells a touching love story between a mortal and a silver carp. Ang Lee (Jordan chan), who went to work, was killed by a bully inspired by a corrupt official in Yuxian County, near Bibo Lake. The silver carp and red fish (Sun Feifei) in Guanyin Bodhisattva Bibo Pool failed to be rescued in time, so he had to hide it in Bibo Cave. In order to find the real murderer, he pretended to be an official and, with his own wisdom, broke the traitor's trick and scared him off. Later, because Red Fish couldn't face Ang Lee's mother and infatuated Zhao Xiu, she resolutely abandoned three pieces of golden scales to save Ang Lee. After the resurrection, Ang Lee was highly effective, and with the help of red fish, it was even more powerful. Together, they fought against corrupt officials, bullies and bandits in Yuxian, found out important cases, and finally got rid of violence and moved towards peace.
In the play, the soft-looking carp fairy is also a master of solving crimes with both wisdom and courage. As a county magistrate, Ang Lee often faces all kinds of difficult cases. As a confidante, the carp fairy gives advice to Li and solves many problems, which is quite like a female version of Gongsun Ce, and makes Ang Lee feel excited about it.
