Lin Miaoke, a 10-year-old girl who sang "Singing of the Motherland" at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics, touched the audience with her lovely and generous image and wonderful voice, drawing a burst of warm applause.
"The five-star red flag flutters in the wind, and the victory song is so loud. Singing our dear motherland, from now on towards prosperity and strength ......" In the National Stadium, the main stadium of the Beijing Olympics, the lovely little girl sang "Singing the Motherland" with sincere feelings, touching more than 90,000 spectators at the scene.
At 8:06 p.m. on August 8, 2008, the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games was held to raise the national flag and play the national anthem. On the flag-raising platform, Lin Miaoke, dressed in a red dress, with a sweet voice, accompanied by 56 children in national costumes, together with the bright five-star red flag escorted into the field. Lin Miaoke, 9, is an elementary school student in Beijing's Wangjing district who specializes in singing and dancing and also plays the piano.
Alan, a reporter for French newspaper L'Equipe, said: "This little girl is so cute, her singing is very moving and moved me. Her singing is very much in keeping with the joyous atmosphere of the day."
