EM bacteria are microbial preparations composed of yeast, lactic acid bacteria and photosynthetic bacteria. To call it EM Original Dew, it
forms a variety of microbial liquids by using appropriate proportions and a unique fermentation process. Widely used
in many fields such as planting, breeding, and environmental protection. The prices of finished products produced in factories are too high and it is difficult to promote them on a large scale.
Now a simple home cultivation EM technology is introduced as follows.
(1) Breeding room and equipment: one darkroom. 50L red plastic bucket, measuring cylinder, mineral water bottle, PH test paper.
(2) Raw materials: EM bacteria, brown sugar, honey, water, fermentation accelerator.
(3) EM bacteria culture solution preparation ratio
Example: EM bacteria: brown sugar: honey: water = 1:2:0.5:45.
(4) Production process flow:
(1) Sterilize plastic buckets, mineral water bottles, measuring cylinders and other utensils for later use.
(2) Put 2 kilograms of brown sugar in each bucket, pour 45 kilograms of clean water (tap water cannot be used to cultivate EM), then add 1 kilogram of EM bacteria, and finally cover it< /p>
Put the lid on the barrel, but it does not have to be completely sealed. Place the barrel in a dark room and allow it to ferment in a semi-sealed state.
(3) The room temperature is 25-35°C. On the third day of fermentation, foam will appear on the water surface. At this time, 50 grams of fermentation accelerator needs to be added to speed up the fermentation and promote the generation of beneficial microorganisms; On the 8th day, the foam slowly disappears, and a piece of white suspended matter floats on the water surface; on the 11th day, 0.5 kg of honey needs to be added: on the 13th day or so, the suspended matter sinks to the bottom of the barrel, and the fermentation is completed.
(4) EM bacteria will be ready in about 13 days when it is between 25-35℃; it will be ready in about 15 days when it is between 15-25℃; it will take 17-19 days if it is below 15℃. The cultivated EM bacteria can be used only if they meet the following requirements: ① The color is brown or yellowish brown; (It has a strong sweet or sour taste; ⑧ Use a measuring cylinder to take a small amount and pour it into a mineral water bottle
Tighten the bottle Cover and shake for a few times to produce a lot of foam; ④ Test the pH value below 3.5
(5) Notes: (1) The cultivated EM should be sealed in a red or green translucent container. Pack and store in a cool and dry place. (2) During the cultivation process, sometimes small insects may be found floating on the culture solution. This is caused by excessive light. (3) After the inoculation is successful, the above method can be repeated for continuous cultivation. , each barrel of EM cultivated above can be used for bacterial culture cycle.
