3. Industrially, seawater is used to dry salt (also called salt field method) or well water or salt lake water is used to boil salt to precipitate salt crystals. The table salt produced in this way contains more impurities and is called coarse salt. Refined salt can be obtained from coarse salt through dissolution, precipitation, filtration and evaporation. In order to eliminate the hazards of iodine deficiency and protect the health of citizens, the state has adopted comprehensive prevention and control measures focusing on the long-term supply of iodized salt (hereinafter referred to as iodized salt).
