Chinese partridges live in dry valleys of low mountains, rock slopes and sand slopes of hills, mostly in bushes, grasslands, barren hills and other environments, and sometimes in small jungles and bamboo forests near farmland. They are not in the mountains and forests, and rarely appear in the open Yuan Ye. In the early morning and evening, they often forage in the valley, spend the night in the grass or bushes at night, and often change their habitats at night.
