1, prepare the container. If you want to temporarily raise the purchased loach at home, you must first prepare the breeding container. If there is a fish tank at home, the loach can generally be kept in the fish tank, and the fish tank should not be too shallow, otherwise the loach will easily jump out. If the loach is kept in a basin, the basin should be covered with a lid. Misgurnus anguillicaudatus belongs to benthic fish, and some clean fine sand can be put at the bottom of the container.

2. Fill the container with water, and fill the culture container with water. Pay attention to the elimination of chlorine in the water for raising loach. If you use tap water for culture, you should put tap water in the sun for 1 day in advance or add a few alum to eliminate chlorine before using it. After the water quality becomes dirty, it is necessary to change the water in time. The frequency of changing the water should be adjusted according to the number of loaches raised and the change of water quality. It is best to keep the water temperature at 22-28℃.

3. Feed in moderation. Misgurnus anguillicaudatus is an omnivorous animal, and the requirements for bait are not very high. Generally, feed in moderation some processed products or residues of food, such as steamed bread, rice and plant debris. If you want loach to grow well, you can feed some chopped earthworm, fish and shrimp or silkworm chrysalis.
