1, site selection and soil preparation. Planting ginseng fruit does not require too high soil requirements. Most soils in China are suitable for planting ginseng fruit, and the growth conditions of ginseng fruit are also good. However, according to relevant data, it is best to plant ginseng fruit in fertile, loose and slightly acidic soil, and the fruit produced is higher than that in general soil and tastes much better. Based on all aspects, it is suggested that the orchard should be built in a place with certain transparency, convenient irrigation and drainage, close to water sources and sufficient sunlight. Then level the land and dig it evenly. The excavated land is about 7 cm wide and about 10 cm high.

2. Fertilizer and water management. In addition to the base fertilizer spread during planting, topdressing is needed twice during planting. The first topdressing time is when the height of fruit seedlings is 30 cm, and the last time is before flowering. When applying fertilizer, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be kept at 5 to 6 kilograms per mu, and the root system should not be damaged when applying fertilizer. It is suggested to apply fertilizer at a distance of 10 cm from the root. When flowering or fruiting, spray a little trace elements to speed up flowering and fruiting, but don't spray high concentration when spraying, you can spray it several times but not too much.

3. Trim. Pruning is a necessary step for fruit trees. The growth rate of ginseng fruit is relatively fast. You can keep four branches evenly distributed on the trunk, and the other branches should be cut off whether they rise or not. In addition, there should be no more than three inflorescences on the outer branches and no more than three fruits on each inflorescence. Try to ensure that each fruit tree bears no more than 30 fruits, because too many flowers and fruits will divide up scarce nutrients, which will lead to the failure of all fruits to develop normally and the decline of quality.

4, timely harvesting. The harvest time of ginseng fruit is mostly in August-September. If there are obvious purple patterns or no patterns on the fruit, but the surface of the fruit feels smooth and reflective, it proves that the fruit is mature and can be harvested. If you don't want to sell it in a hurry and prepare to store it for a period of time, it is suggested that you harvest the fruit when it is 8 minutes ripe, and then store it at room temperature for one to two months, and you can sell it directly in spring.
