Adult leaves are alternate, mostly even-numbered pinnately compound, with 8 to 14 pairs of leaflets, opposite or subopposite.
Complex leaf petiole red, shallowly grooved, hypertrophied at the base, leaf scars large, obcordate or obtriangular, with fiber tube bundles. Leaflets lanceolate, base rounded, apical acuminate, 6,0-9,0 cm long, 1,5-5,0 cm wide, leaf margin serrate, petiole 0. 1-0. 7 cm long. Young leaves are reddish-red, adult leaves are green.
