How to tie a fishhook

How to tie the fishhook:

Tools: Prepare the fishhook and suitable fishing line. To ensure the shooting effect, I chose a larger hook and a thicker fishing line. Wire. In the actual hook tying process, the length of the fishing line is determined according to the length of the sub-line required by fishing friends.

Method:

1. Hold the hook in your left hand and bend the fishing line into a circle as shown in the picture. Pay attention to leaving enough length for the thread ends on both sides.

2. Hold the thread on the right side of the coil interface with your right hand and wrap the fishing line around the hook handle. Note that when wrapping, the thread end on the right side and the hook handle must be wrapped together at the same time.

3. Wrap 4-5 times in one ring, but not too much.

4. After winding enough turns, hand the winding thread to your left hand and pinch it tightly, as shown in the picture. Then, with your right hand, pinch the end of the winding thread on the right side and pull it outward.

5. Pull it all the way to the back of the head and tighten it firmly. At the same time, be careful to avoid using too much force and injuring the tip of the hook. Another important thing is that the direction of the pulled fishing line is on the inside of the hook handle as shown in the picture, because the head fixing piece of the hook handle is tilted outward. If the fishing line is left on the outside of the hook handle, it will often cause the hook handle fixing piece to wear out the fishing line and cause fish to run away.

6. Finally, use scissors to remove excess thread.

7. The fishhook at one end of the sub-line is tied, and the hook at the other end can be tied in the same way.
