Tie zongzi with string or straw rope from top to bottom to ensure that the package is tight.
5. Cook zongzi:
Put the prepared zongzi into a large pot, add enough water, and the water level is higher than the zongzi.
Boil the water with high fire, and then continue to cook with medium and small fire for 1.5-2 hours until the zongzi is soft and cooked.
The wrapped zongzi can be eaten or stored. If you need to keep it for a long time, you can put it in the freezer for freezing. When eating, take out the zongzi and peel off its leaves, then you can enjoy the delicious glutinous rice and stuffing.
Please pay attention to hygiene during operation, ensure that the materials used are clean, and strictly abide by food safety regulations. I wish you success in making zongzi and enjoy the delicious food!
