How to treat a jellyfish sting
If you are stung by a jellyfish, do not rinse it with fresh water, as fresh water can encourage the stinging cells to release their venom. Use towel, clothes, mud and sand to wipe off the tentacles or venom adhering to the skin as soon as possible, or use seawater to rinse. If possible, the affected area can be rinsed or sprayed with alcohol or alkaline lotion, such as 10% sodium bicarbonate. For large skin lesions, serious systemic reactions to the hospital in a timely manner.
