2. Zengcheng Simiao Rice is known as "the king of rice in China", which is the same as Zengcheng Gualv Litchi. Lingnan is famous for its white and glittering rice grains, rich oil and fragrance, softness and delicacy, and enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad. The Records of Zengcheng County, published during the Wu Geng period of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 18 10), recorded: "The best rice in Zengcheng is Simiao rice." It can be seen that it has a long history and enjoys a long reputation. Zengcheng Simiao rice was once a tribute of the imperial court, and now it has become an indispensable rice for the general public.
