Video tutorial on how to use a fishing sea rod

When using a sea rod you have to draw it out section by section, and draw it out to make sure that the overcoil is on a line so that the line can be easily jerked.

Install the winding reel. Install the winding reel on the fishing rod, open the winding reel backstop switch, flip open the winding reel outlet ring, pull the line out, close the outlet ring, pass the line through the rod guide ring in turn, tie on the drop line, tug the rod sections tightly, close the winding reel backstop switch.

Adjusting the trolling mechanism, this is a very critical place. If you adjust it too tightly, it will be slower and easier to break the line when encountering big fish, but if you adjust it too loosely, it will be very fast. The most important thing to do is to pull the line by hand, and then pull it when you feel it is right.

Rotate the reel so that the bait is 30cm-40cm away from the rod tip, hold the reel in your right hand, use your ring finger and middle finger to hold the back of the reel, use your index finger to construct the line, flip the loop, and then fling the hook to the spot where you want to fish.

The fishing signal of the sea rod is obtained by the fishing line pulling the rod tip, and the angle between the rod tip and the fishing line is close to 90 degrees, which is the most sensitive. At the same time, the longer the distance between the rod tip and the rod handle, the more sensitive the signal will be. If you don't use a rod holder, make sure the angle between the rod and the line is nearly 90 degrees, and the distance between the rod tip and the pivot point is as long as possible.

Correctly match the line to the rod. A diameter of 0.30 ~ 0.40mm is sufficient, and should not be too thick or too thin. The bait ball should not be too large, the size of an egg is appropriate. This way, you won't break the line when casting from a distance. For pendant, 30~40 grams of live pendant is the best. The stroke of the pendant should be kept at 20-30 centimeters. If it is too long, it will be easily entangled into a dead pendant without signaling. It is better to store the fishing line on the line reel with a full slot. In this way, the bait ball can fly farther when casting.
