The above three aspects are all made of Erchen soup. Both have the effect of eliminating dampness and resolving phlegm. Daotan decoction is prepared by removing dark plum, licorice, Rhizoma Arisaematis and Fructus Aurantii Immaturus from Erchen decoction. Rhizoma Arisaematis increases the power of removing dampness and resolving phlegm in Pinellia ternata, and Fructus Aurantii Immaturus helps Chenpi to regulate qi and resolve phlegm, so the power of removing dampness and resolving phlegm and promoting qi is better than Erchen Decoction. Indications: phlegm and blood stasis, qi stagnation. Ditan decoction is based on Daotan decoction, which is added with Acorus gramineus, bamboo shavings, ginseng and licorice, and has more effects of enlightening and strengthening the body resistance than Daotan decoction.
