Before using the gelatin tablets, cut a large piece into several small pieces, then soak it in ice water (be sure to use cold water), and spread the gelatin tablets out without folding. Soak in 10- 15 minutes or so, and it will be soft. After that, pick up the bright film, drain it, put it into the solution for curing, and then stir and melt it.

The purpose of softening is to make dehydrated gelatin tablets absorb water again, which is beneficial to rapid dissolution after adding warm solution. The solution to be cured should be as warm as possible, but not too hot, otherwise it will destroy the curing effect of gelatin.

Precautions:

1. Desserts made of gelatin need to be refrigerated, which is easy to melt and deform in a warm environment.

2. Desserts made of gelatin should be sealed and preserved to prevent gelatinous surface.

3. Gelatine tablets should not be soaked for too long, otherwise it will soften and affect the coagulation effect.
