Raw fish, snakeheads are commonly known as blackfish, which are ferocious by nature, have a strong reproductive capacity, and have a surprisingly large appetite, often able to eat all the other fish in a particular lake or pond, even sparing their own young. Blackfish can also glide on land, migrate to other waters in search of food, can live out of the water for up to three days. It is the Chinese "dish of delicacies"
