Northern Subei Wangmi is just a brand name. Subei rice and Subei Wangmi originate from the same place, so the taste and cooked aroma are the same and there is no difference.

Northern Jiangsu rice mainly refers to indica rice. Indica rice generally has a plant height of more than 1 meter, with soft stems, wide leaves, light green color, and small flag leaves. The leaves are hairy, with short hairs scattered on the chamele. Most of them have no or short awns, and the grains are slender and slightly flat, with the length generally being more than twice the width. The grains fall off easily and are resistant to moisture, heat and strong light, but not cold.
