Experts say that in the last six years, the prevalence of urticaria in China has increased from 15% to 25%, and the number of patients has increased by 10 billion. It can be seen that the scale and harm of urticaria are considerable. Especially in the cold winter, urticaria appears on my body, itchy and red, and the more I scratch, the more itchy I get. Why is this happening?
How is urticaria formed?
Our intestinal immune system is the first line to fight against bad bacteria in the intestine, because the surface area of the intestine is the largest, and it is also the place where foreign bacteria are most exposed. The basic function of the intestine is to absorb nutrients from food. Because nutrients are the main source to maintain health, the intestinal immune defense system must be able to distinguish nutrients from bacteria, so that food nutrients can pass through the intestinal mucosa smoothly and will not be rejected by the immune system, thus achieving the dual effects of defense and absorption.
When our intestinal immune system senses that bacteria are approaching, immune cells will secrete immunoglobulin A(IgA) to attack bacteria. However, if the food ingredients are close, it will automatically secrete immunoglobulin E(IgE) or G(IgG), and when immunoglobulin E is secreted too much, it will cause allergic reaction.
In the intestinal immune system, there is an "immune tolerance" mechanism, which will inhibit the immune system from secreting immunoglobulin E(IgE) or G(IgG) to cause allergic reactions to food ingredients. However, for people with allergic constitution, due to the problem of "immune tolerance" mechanism, when eating a certain food, the intestinal immune system will secrete too much immunoglobulin E(IgE) to attack food ingredients, thus causing urticaria.
Urticaria is a typical IgE-mediated type, which is caused by degranulation of mast cells mediated by IgE and the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators. The increase of capillary permeability produces air masses. Erythema caused by vasodilation and itching caused by inflammatory mediators stimulating receptors. According to classical theory, antigen binds to specific IgE on the surface receptor of skin mast cells, which stimulates mast cells to release inflammatory mediators such as histamine. At present, the theory of IgE-mediated autoimmune diseases is the most widely studied on the pathogenesis of chronic urticaria. There is sufficient evidence to prove that most patients with urticaria have functional anti-IgE receptor antibodies and anti-IgE antibodies that can degranulate skin mast cells or basophils. Serum total IgE is higher than normal, or eosinophils or neutrophils are higher. Through the examination of skin tissue extract, it was found that histamine levels in rash and non-rash areas increased, and histamine releasing factor could activate mast cells and basophils to release histamine.
It is scientifically proved that the IgE immunoglobulin in the immune system of patients with urticaria is 1- 10 times higher than that of normal people. These higher IgE will disturb the immune system of human body, make it sensitive, and lead to urticaria, thus strengthening the immune defense function of urticaria and improving its adaptability to the environment.
What about urticaria?
1, away from allergens
Urticaria is an allergic skin disease. If you want to control your illness as soon as possible and prevent urticaria from recurring, you must find your own allergens. It is best to go to the hospital to check what your allergen is. Only by finding allergens as early as possible and staying away from these allergens in life can urticaria not recur. There are many allergens in life, so it is very troublesome to find them yourself.
2. Improve allergic constitution
Traditional treatment methods of urticaria often fail to grasp the etiology and targeted treatment. Oral antihistamines are often used, and corticosteroids are mostly temporarily inhibited. Long-term or high-dose topical corticosteroids can lead to addiction and drug dependence. The most common thing is that the condition will get better after taking the medicine. Once the drug is stopped, the primary disease of the medication site will be aggravated. It is suggested that the frequency of recurrent urticaria can be reduced by immunomodulation of allergic constitution.
Modern medicine has found that supplementing anti-allergic probiotics can improve allergic constitution from the inside through the study of urticaria. The root cause of urticaria is the patient's physical problems and the imbalance of immunoglobulin (IGE) secretion, resulting in a high IGE value. Treatment should fundamentally reduce IGE value and balance immunoglobulin.
A large number of animal experiments and clinical experiments provide strong evidence that increasing the number of probiotics in digestive tract can prevent and even treat urticaria. The scientific proportion of six patented strains selected by Xinmin Kang's anti-allergic probiotics can improve the ecology of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, improve the wandering ability of protruding cells in the whole body, regulate the whole body immune function and relieve allergic symptoms; Xinminkang anti-allergic probiotics, which are compounded by six strains of bacteria, can regulate the TH 1 type immune response, thus reducing excessive IgE-specific antibodies in the serum of patients with allergic rhinitis, relieving allergic symptoms and adjusting allergic constitution. Compared with the simple drug treatment of urticaria, Xinminkang anti-allergic probiotics can produce good overall curative effect and effectively improve the quality of life of allergic patients. Compared with a single anti-allergic strain, the anti-allergic ability of immune regulation is more comprehensive.
3. Do daily care.
Keep your diet light. Usually, you should drink more boiled water, or you can drink some juice and honey in moderation, which can moisturize and maintain your skin and relieve the symptoms of itchy skin. Usually drink more mung bean porridge and seaweed soup, which can play an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial role and is also conducive to the improvement of urticaria. Eating more fresh green leafy vegetables and fruits can clear away heat and detoxify, so patients should eat more fruits and vegetables.
It is necessary to ban spicy food. Usually avoid eating spicy food, hot pot and other foods, and you can't eat Chili often. Don't eat irritating food that can easily cause your body to get angry. Don't drink, smoke or drink carbonated drinks.
