The head and breastplate of the blue crab are oval, the back is round, the surface is smooth and the claws are thick. The color of crustaceans varies with species and living environment.
Blue crabs are widely distributed in the Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean, mainly preying on small fish, shrimp, crabs, shellfish and so on. They burrow in caves during the day and eat at night.
Blue crabs like to inhabit mudflats, mangroves or marshes in the intertidal zone, and their shells are dark green, yellow green and olive green.
