Perch is a fish in the genus Perch of the family Carpidae of the order Carpiformes, and there are Golden Sand Perch (Percocyprispingi), Flower Perch (Percocyprisregani), and Back Perch (Percocyprisretrodorslis). The Golden Sand Perch is found in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and its tributaries; the Flower Perch is found in Fuxian Lake; and the Back Perch is found in the Lancang River system. The body length can reach over 60cm. Tongtai dialect, i.e. carp.
