We click the "WAN" option on the left side of the home page to switch to the "Internet Settings" page.
(1) supports five WAN connection types: dynamic IP, static IP, PPPoE, PPTP and L2TP.
Please choose the connection type according to the specific Internet environment.
(2) setting of dynamic IP:
General use environment: If there is a router connected to the Internet in the upper layer, just connect the WAN end of the router at hand to the LAN port in the upper layer through the network cable, and ensure that the Internet DNS setting is checked on "Yes". It should be noted that because the WAN end of the router is obtained as the intranet IP, the use of DDNS, VPN and AiCloud extranets will be limited.
(3) Setting of static IP:
Please fill in the fields of IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS server 1 and DNS server 2 according to the real IP provided by ISP, and finally click Save. As shown below.
(4)PPPoE settings:
It is suitable for families to access the environment with traditional telephone lines. The telephone line is still connected to the Modem and connected to the WAN port of the router with a network cable.
