Under what circumstances will the pressure cooker explode?
Because there is only one pressure relief valve and one air outlet pipe in the middle, if it is blocked, the air pressure in the pressure cooker will continue to rise. When to explode depends on the mechanical strength of the edge material of the pressure cooker manufactured by the manufacturer. Generally, dozens of atmospheres will explode. That's why there was a lot of news about the explosion of the pressure cooker before. When cooking peanuts and beans, this kind of particulate matter is easily washed into the hole by steam and blocked the air outlet, so pay attention to cooking particulate matter. The manufacturer came to their senses and thought that only the pressure relief valve was too dangerous, so a three-hole pressure cooker appeared.

This pressure cooker is equipped with an alarm valve and a safety valve. When the blockage of the pressure relief valve exceeds a certain pressure, the alarm valve and the safety valve work to release pressure, which fully ensures the use safety of the pressure cooker.

In this case, if the pressure cooker is going to explode, all three holes should be blocked, which is still a little small. In fact, some pressure cookers are equipped with fuses and pressure relief devices, which are made of alloy materials with low melting point. Once the safety valve fails and the temperature in the pot reaches the melting point of the fusible piece, the gas in the pot will be ejected from the fusible piece to prevent the explosion accident.

Therefore, the safety of the current pressure cooker should be guaranteed. At the same time, the explosion conditions of the electric pressure cooker are similar to those mentioned above, so I won't go into details here.

Improper use of pressure cooker will cause explosion, so it is very important to choose the right pressure cooker, and it is more important to use the pressure cooker correctly. Generally speaking, when using the pressure cooker, you should pay attention to the following points:

(1) The stewed food and water shall not exceed four fifths of the total capacity, and if it is easily expandable food such as beans, it shall not exceed two thirds of the internal volume of the pot.

(2) Before capping, there should be no residue in the vent hole and the hole under the valve seat of the safety valve.

(3) When capping, the upper and lower handles must completely overlap.

(4) After the steam is discharged from the pressure relief hole, the valve seat of the pressure limiting valve must be fastened. When the hiss of the pressure limiting valve is loud, switch to a small fire immediately.

(5) If the fusible parts melt or the safety valve exhausts, immediately remove the pressure cooker from the fire source.

(6) Do not open the lid immediately after leaving the fire source. If you are in a hurry to open the lid, you can rinse the lid with cold water to reduce the air pressure in the pot.

(7) The aging safety valve shall be replaced in time, and the fusible piece shall not be replaced by metal sheet at will.

(8) Don't put any heavy objects on the pressure limiting valve in use.
