Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a provincial full-time general college, located in Yantai, Jiaodong Peninsula. It is a key construction unit in state administration of traditional chinese medicine, and the construction unit of a famous school project for training skilled talents in Shandong Province. Its predecessor was Laiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1958 10, and renamed Yantai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the same year 12. In May 2004, it was upgraded to Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
The school emblem consists of three basic contents: Chinese school name, capital English school name and school initial year. The main body of the school emblem is abstractly evolved from the word "traditional Chinese medicine". The color represents the green performance of health, and the premiere of the "arrow" in the middle is an abstract human figure, conveying the people-oriented health concept. The school flag is rectangular, with a sea blue background and white characters, and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. Sea blue symbolizes that the school is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea, and white is suitable for the school as a medical school, symbolizing angels in white.
