Storage methods:
1, dry storage method.
Shiitake mushrooms are highly absorbent, not easy to store, when the water content is high, it is easy to oxidize and deteriorate, mold and mildew. Therefore, mushrooms must be dried before storage. The storage container must be put into the appropriate amount of lump lime or dry charcoal and other moisture absorbing agents to prevent the moisture back.
2, low temperature storage method.
Mushrooms must be stored in a low-temperature ventilated place, and if possible, the containers with mushrooms can be sealed and placed in the refrigerator or cold storage
3, light storage method.
Infrared rays in the light will heat up the mushrooms, and ultraviolet rays will trigger the photochemical process, thus accelerating the deterioration of mushrooms. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid storing mushrooms under strong light, and also to avoid packaging with light-transparent materials.
When you can't throw away fresh shiitake mushrooms that you haven't cooked all at once, you must preserve them so that you can continue to enjoy the fresh flavor the next time you want to eat them. The preservation method is actually quite simple. Just put fresh mushrooms into a plastic bag, squeeze out the air and put them in the freezer overnight. When you take them out the next day, you'll find that the mushrooms have shed their moisture and the bag is covered with small, dense droplets of water. When you take out the mushrooms, use a piece of paper to absorb the water on the surface of the mushrooms, then put them into another clean plastic bag and put them back into the freezer. After this process, the fresh shiitake mushrooms will become freeze-dried shiitake mushrooms that can be cooked directly.
Freezing
Fresh shiitake mushrooms can be frozen, but before you freeze them, you should remove any bruised shiitake mushrooms, seal them in a plastic box, and then put them in the freezer to keep them fresh for about 10 days.
Freezing preservation
Fresh mushrooms can be preserved after freezing, the specific method is to put the fresh mushrooms in a plastic bag sealed up, into the refrigerator, the next day to take out, with a paper towel to the surface of the droplets of water suction, and then put them in another plastic bag, sealed and deposited into the refrigerator, so that is the same as the fresh mushrooms made of freeze-dried mushrooms, when consumed, directly remove the mushrooms. melting on it.
