What are the breeding methods of Nandina domestica?
1, seed propagation:

Sowing can be done at harvest or the next year after sand storage. Spring sowing needs shade shed for shade. Autumn sowing in the north is mostly carried out in small arch sheds or plastic greenhouses, and seedlings emerge around February and March. Autumn sowing in the open field needs to cover grass for winter. However, it should be noted that this seed has weak germination ability and needs help to remove topsoil. Generally, it takes two years to transplant with soil balls. Seedling growth is slow, and it takes 3 ~ 4 years to blossom and bear fruit.

2. Cutting propagation:

Cuttings take root slowly and are carried out in spring or rainy season. Select 1 ~ 2-year-old top branches, the cutting length is 15 ~ 20cm, and leave two compound leaves at the top, insert them into sandy soil about 10 ~ 15cm, treat them with growth hormones NAA and IBA, then shade them, and cover them with plastic film for moisture retention.
