Plug in the network cable and poke open the system settings-> Software update-> Attach drivers to see if any wireless network card drivers are not enabled.
Check the driver model of the wireless network card, and download and install the corresponding driver in official website.
Or maybe you made a mistake.
1. System combustion.
Turn on the Raspberry Pi imager.
Click Choose Operating System and select the image to burn. If you haven't downloaded the image before, you can choose Ubuntu from the list.
Then select "Ubuntu Desktop 20.10" (RPI 4/400) in the list, download it through software first, and then write the image after the download is completed.
If you have downloaded the image before, or installed various software and have a backup image, when you want to burn it on a TF card, select "Use Custom" and select the image file in the pop-up window to burn it.
Connect the TF card to the computer through the card reader, and click "Select SD card" to select the TF card to burn.
Click "Write" to write the mirror image. A password authorization window will pop up under MAC, and you can authorize it. The burning speed is very fast. It takes a little time to verify after burning, so wait patiently.
After the recording is completed, insert the TF card back into the Raspberry Pie, connect the keyboard of the monitor, and turn it on.
Setting the Keyboard Layout is just the default. I have used other third-party systems before, and the default layout is not English (USA). Although it is also English, the keys are different.
There is nothing to say about setting the "time zone" except the default choice of "Shanghai".
When setting "User Name Password", you will generally choose "Require password when logging in".
Wait for system initialization.
