According to the national regulations, Chinese herbal medicines can be used as spices, such as anise, fennel, clove, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, cassia twig, fragrant sand, Amomum tsaoko, white pepper, Fructus Alpiniae Oxyphyllae, dried tangerine peel, magnolia flower, Alpinia officinarum, Angelica sinensis, Radix Glycyrrhizae, Radix Aucklandiae, Radix Astragali and Amomum villosum.
