Quality identification
①Texture. Natural jadeite is transparent or translucent in texture, with an oily and shiny surface. If you look closely, you can see nearly round, slightly transparent "salt grains" and fibrous substances surrounding them.
②Hardness. Natural jadeite is jadeite, with a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. It will not leave traces when carved with a sharp knife. Fake jade has a low hardness and can be carved with a sharp knife.
③Green nature. When natural jadeite is observed under strong light, it can be seen that there are emerald flashes of other mineral particles, which is called emerald flower or emerald nature. Counterfeit products made of glass, plastic, and porcelain materials do not have this "emerald nature" feature.
