The White Phoenix and the Taihe Wuqi are two local breeds of Wuqi in China with some differences.

The differences are as follows:

1. Appearance: White Phoenix Chicken is larger, with long and powerful legs, black from the neck down and white on top of the head; Taihe Chicken is smaller, with black color all over the body, and black color on the head and neck as well.

2. Meat: White Fungus Chicken is tender and tasty, with juicy meat and less oil; Taihe Chicken has a slightly harder texture due to its thicker fiber.

3. Place of origin: White Fungus Chicken is mainly distributed in Yichun, Shangrao, Fuzhou and other areas in Jiangxi Province; Taihe Chicken is produced exclusively in Taihe County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province.
