Lanzhou University, according to the opinions of experts from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, suggests that you adopt the following methods to deal with the water exceeding the standard in order to solve the urgent need:

(1) boiling evaporation method. At room temperature, the water is boiled for 3 to 4 minutes, and the evaporated gas is discharged outside through ventilation facilities, which can remove most of the benzene in the water.

(2) Adsorption filtration method. Adding 6% activated carbon to water, filtering after 8 ~ 10 minutes, can remove 90% benzene content in water.
