1. Indoor storage can choose a closed and warm room, build a stove for heating, and enclose a barn for convenient storage. The length depends on the size and storage capacity of the room. When the weather is cold, cover it with a straw curtain to prevent the cold and make a fire to heat it properly.
2. The pit is stored in a place with high terrain, solid soil and low groundwater level, and a shaft is dug downwards, with a general diameter of about 1 m and a depth of 5-6 meters. The size of the storage room can be determined according to the storage capacity. The storeroom should be padded with 10 ~ 15 cm thick dry sand, and sweet potatoes should be put on it. Sweet potatoes can only be 70% full, so as to leave room for the air, otherwise it will aggravate the damp heat.
3. Generally, a cellar with a width of about 2 meters, a length of 3-4 meters and a depth of about 2 meters is dug for shed storage. Sweet potatoes should be stacked block by block from bottom to top to avoid direct contact between sweet potatoes and cellar walls.
4. House cellar storage The structure of the house cellar is similar to that of an ordinary house, but the top of the wall is very thick, all sides are sealed, the windows are open, there is a fire path for heating, and high-temperature calluses can be treated. There are two kinds of house pits: big house pits (10000 ~ 50000 kg) and small house pits. The wooden house has a small cellar, which saves labor and materials and is suitable for farmers to store. Generally, each cellar can store 1500 ~ 3000 kg.
