Plum, apricot and apricot fat is a description of the pastoral scenery in early summer. This poem comes from a seven-character quatrain written by Fan Chengda, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. In the poem, "plum yellow", "apricot fat", "wheat white" and "rare cauliflower" are used to describe the scenery characteristics of the southern countryside in summer.
